Barone Ricasoli Brolio Chianti Classico, Tuscany, Italy
Readers rated this wine:
Opulent, persistent, fragrant.
Quite opulent for a CC, the Brolio offers dark cherries, balsamic, chocolate and dried roses, vanilla, star anise and brown spices. It is supple and the palate leans more to red cherry and wild red berries layered with saddle leather, espresso, spice and cocoa. Chalky tannins linger on a persistent finish.

Barone Ricasoli Brolio Chianti Classico, Tuscany, Italy
Readers rated this wine:
Complex, persistent, velvety.
Expect succulent strawberry and cherry notes, roses, baking spices and vanilla with balsamic undertones. The palate is as velvety as the nose; beautiful weight, expressive red fruits, savoury spices, espresso and cooca flavours dominate. It is sleek and complex, supple and fresh. A lovely example with a persistent finish lined with chalky tannins.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Parmesan & Rosemary

Barone Ricasoli Brolio~Bettino Chianti Classico, Tuscany Italy
Readers rated this wine:
Savoury and rustic - with cherries, meaty tones, tar and crushed flowers - a brooding Chianti Classico. The entry is fresh and spicy with balanced acidity followed up with flavours of earth, leather and mocha - powerful tannins linger on the finish.
Best to decant before drinking - will pair will with roasted meat dishes.

Bodega Y Vinedos Nicolas Catena 'La Marchigiana' Malbec, Mendoza Argentina
Readers rated this wine:
Purity, earthy, texture.
Aged eight months in traditional Italian-style clay pots, this Maipu-born Malbec went through a full secondary fermentation and saw zero added sulphites.
Dark fruit and berries, cocoa, wild herbs and bitter mocha notes lead to a fresh red-fruit and earthy palate with chew and texture. It's a more medium-bodied wine with nice purity and thoughtfulness.

Bodegas Caro Malbec~Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendoza, Argentina
Readers rated this wine:
Spicy, serious, woven.
A joint effort between Nicolas Catena and Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) this woven blend offers spiced plums, blackberry and toasted spices, vanillin oak, espresso and tobacco aromas. The palate is spicy as ell, sweet cherries and black fruit flavours are layered with mocha, smoked meat and balsamic flavours. It's a serious wine with all the structure and balance in check.
