Brooding, textural, complex.
The Stewart family settled in the Okanagan Valley in 1908 and purchased the land, which is now Quails' Gate Estate in 1956. In 2015 the family celebrated 25 years of the Quails' Gate label.
This vintage Cab Sauv doles out wild black berries, sagebrush, savoury spice and cocoa, tobacco and saddle leather aromas. It is textural and borders on brooding. Black fruit, bittersweet cocoa ad pipe tobacco flavours lead to a long and complex finish trailing leather and spice.
A wine for proteins, hearty stews or bean casseroles, or hard cheeses.
