Oliver / Osoyoos

Moon Curser Carmenere, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Succulent, fragrant, spicy.
Chile's flagship Carmenere is smartly represented by Mooncurser. Grown in the South Okanagan, this one is wonderfully fragrant; expect purple fruits, and flowers, vanilla roasted red bell peppers and espresso, leather and brown spice aromas. It has a fresh and friendly palate, a juicy demeanor and long textural finish.
Good levity and drink-ability.

Succulent, supple, spicy.
Chile's flagship Carmenere has been wonderfully represented by the South Okanagan, this one is spicy and savoury with succulent red fruits, vanilla, violets and mocha aromas. The palate is an echo of the nose; supple and spicy, deftly woven and chocolaty, with excellent balance and character.

Readers rated this wine:
Charming, bouncy, delightful.
A rare find, outside of Italy, this fresh and unoaked Dolcetto, has a Utterly charming with cherry lolly, dried rose petal, vanilla, star anise and leathery aromas. It is juicy and medium-bodied with a good dose of spice on the palate. Classic, with high-toned fruit make for a delightful red that is great when chilled.

Moon Curser Dolcetto, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Charming, juicy, silky.
Dolcetto, aka little sweet one, is a rare find outside of Piedmont, but is a delightful regular in Moon Curser's portfolio of rarities.
Unencumbered by any oak contact, the 2020 has a lovely grapey colour and notes of violets and blueberries, crushed red cherry and dried rose petals with grounding undertones of Mexican chocolate and earth. Charming and silky it has a bouncy palate of purple berries, sweet cherry and the vaguest note of mint. A friendly wine with a fresh finish that benefits from a slight chill before service.

Little sweet one is a rare find outside of Piedmont, but is a delightful member of Osoyoos' Moon Curser's portfolio of rarities.
Charming with earthy and spicy notes woven with cherry lolly and roses, tobacco and a hint of mint. High-toned crushed red fruit leads the palate; juicy and charming it trails spice and tealeaf on a finish dusted with cocoa
