Moon Curser

Okanagan Valley
Oliver / Osoyoos

Moon Curser Arneis, Osoyoos East Bench, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Tasty, unique, fresh.
Arneis is a relatively new white for Moon Curser (2013 was their first vintage), it is a rare variety; a Piedmontese grape.
A mineral/oyster shell note dominates, layered by green almond and lemons with herbal undertones. Lemon-lime and herbal notes along with mineral on the palate, mimic the nose. Good overall potency, a waxy texture and fresh finish.
Very unique and damn tasty.

Moon Curser Cabernet Sauvignon, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Fresh, spiced, earthy.
Grown on the Osoyoos East Bench this Cabernet offers current and dried plums, vanilla, licorice, mocha, tobacco and graphite aromas. Fine spice, tealeaf, dusty plum flavours lead to a fresh palate with cocoa tannins. I suggest drinking now, not cellaring.

Grown on the Osoyoos East Bench this Cabernet delivers cassis and dried cherries, vanilla, toffee, molasses, pencil shavings and spice aromas, which then lead to a supple and slick palate. Flavours of coffee, currents and plums slide across the tongue. It has superfine tannins, a nice freshness and good length.

Readers rated this wine:
Spicy, savoury, muscular.
This Southern Okanagan Cabernet delivers aromas of black current and black raspberry, vanilla, graphite, coffee leather, mint and tealeaf that roll onto a supple palate with chalky tannins. Extracted, it has oak spice, charred tobacco and vague black fruit flavours. It is muscular but youthful and could benefit from time to harmonize.
A wine for meat and plant-based meat alternatives, hard cheeses and hearty dishes.
