Haywire 'Baby Bub', Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Adorable, fresh, fragrant.
Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which with short skin contact, lends this adorable bubbly its cherry blossom pink hue. Expect aromas of cherries and strawberries, red apples and bubblegum with a hint of lilac and pink grapefruit. It has a delicate mousse with a kiss of sweetness to tame its tangy pink grapefruit, kumquat and crunchy fruit flavours.
Pair: a fresh baguette served with soft cheese and fruit compote on the side, brunch dishes or a patio and sun umbrella.

Haywire 'Canyonview Vineyard' Chardonnay, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Unique, creamy, mineral.
A Chardonnay that was fermented (in concrete) using wild yeasts of its vineyard and sees no oak but underwent extreme lees stirring.
Undoubtedly the lees stirring has an overall effect on this wine - citrus and crunchy white fruits give way to bread dough, nuts, vegemite and oxidative notes. The palate is creamy and rounded with ripe orchard fruits, citrus and complex mineral flavours. Very good concentration with a juicy but textural finish.
Probably not everyone's cup-of-tea, but unique and complex.
Pair: Roasted white meats, cream sauces, seafood, smoked cheeses, gourmet mac and cheese.

Unique, lengthy, tangy.
A Chardonnay that was fermented (in concrete) using wild yeasts of its vineyard. It sees no oak but underwent substantial lees stirring.
It is a delight of golden fruits, grilled lemons, orange blossoms and creamed honey. The palate is tangy, leesy and nutty with very good concentration and weight. The finish is lengthy and trails white pepper and lemon oil flavours.
Pair: Roasted white meats, cream sauces, seafood, smoked cheeses, gourmet mac and cheese.

Haywire 'Canyonview Vineyard' Pinot Noir, Okangan Valley
Readers rated this wine:
Harmonious, silky, stylish.
Spicy aromas are layered with rhubarb, sour cherry and red currents alongside leather, wild sage cocoa and fine white pepper with a core of violets and forest floor. The palate is equally Burgundy-meets-BC with a stylish character, silky texture and juicy fruit. Balance and harmony.

Haywire 'Canyonview Vineyard' Pinot Noir, Okangan Valley
Readers rated this wine:
Such an elegant, but thoroughly delicious Pinot Noir.
Black raspberries and cherry, saddle leather, violets and cocoa, dried sage and sweet spices with tealeaf. On the palate, tangy pomegranate leads the charge with spice, cocoa and vanilla. It boasts a silky palate and sweet high-toned fruit with a charming, juicy character and good persistence.
