Stoneboat Vineyards Pinot Gris, Okanagan Valley BC, 2011
Readers rated this wine:

From the rocky, calcium rich soils of the Black Sage Bench region in the Southern Okanagan Valley, this delicious Stoneboat Pinot Gris is 80% tank fermented and 20% fermented in neutral oak barrels.
A delicious white with fantastic concentration. On the nose it presents spiced creamed pears, honey and white grapefruit and white blossoms atop classic Gris undertones of earth and mushroom. The palate is tangy and leads with flavours of pear, nectarine and citrus. The finish is zesty and lengthy.
Pair this wine with chicken in mushroom sauce, mushrrom risotto, chicken salad or salmon.

Stoneboat Vineyards Pinot Noir Reserve, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Stoneboat, on the Black Sage Gravelbar in Oliver, is now owned by Rudy Verhoeff and Kyla Richey, former professional volleyball athletes. They also own Valley Commons, is a winery established in the District Wine Village in Oliver in 2021. Both wineries fall under the Verhoeff Group of Companies, which is headed by Paul Verhoeff, Rudy's father. The family also owns a flooring company, a brewery and restaurants in the Fraser Valley.
This reserve Pinot Noir suggests cherry and raspberry, rhubarb and carrot tops, forest floor, star anise and cedar aromas. The palate is silky but less expressive than the nose; it has good structure and quite a firm grip for Pinot. Cocoa, leather, bacon fat and cedar flavours dominate the palate.

Stoneboat Vineyards Pinot Noir, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Precise, juicy, tangy. Juicy rhubarb and tangy red berries, succulent spices and forest floor with cedar chips and dried roses, appear on the nose. It has mouthwatering acidity and pristine fruit; a savoury underbelly of spice, tealeaf, bacon fat and cocoa flavours rolls across a lengthy finish. Very good balance and precision with impressive structure.
Pair: roasted beets, smoked salmon, pork belly, squash ravioli, mushroom risotto.

Bright, juicy, fragrant.
Grown on the rocky, calcium-rich benches of the Black Sage, south of Oliver, this delightful Pinot Noir offers fragrant aromas of raspberry, pomegranate, vanilla, sweet spices and sous bois with a bouquet of roses and violets. The palate is smooth and sweet, redolent with ruby fruit, leather, cocoa, cigar and spice. Fine boned, smooth and stylish.
Pair: roasted beets, smoked salmon, pork belly, squash ravioli, mushroom risotto.

It's a fragrant wine doling out vanilla and violets, raspberry tea, forest floor and baking spices. The palate is classic and fresh woven and silky, flavours of berries and earth dominate.
