Readers rated this wine:
Fragrant, slick, fleshy.
Partially fermented in a concrete egg creates amazing mouthfeel and texture this Gris is a fragrant melange of honeysuckle and Bosc pears, peach marmalade, vanilla and lemon curd. The mouth reveals a slick and fleshy palate with golden fruits, spice and vanilla liqueur. Concentrated and creamy, oak nuanced hang on the finish.

Potent, luscious, generous.
Made from grapes sourced from Okanagan Falls (and 5% from Naramata Bench) this potent Pinot was aged 12 months in new (22%) and neutral oak barrels--it's 14.2% alcohol.
It has a chocolaty character with cherry, raspberry and sarsaparilla aromas atop earth and cedary undertones. Potent, generous, polished.

Chocolate dipped cherries, espresso, black raspberry, vanilla, violets, cardamom and star anise aromas lead to an equally plush and generous palate. Purple fruits, licorice, pipe tobacco, espresso and rich chocolaty flavours are underscored by pepper. It's a lengthy and warm wine with sweet, polished tannins.

Potent, ripe, chewy.
This weighty Syrah comes from LFNG's estate Perfect Hedge vineyard in Osoyoos. It was co-fermented with 3% Viognier (a nod to Northern Rhone Valley's versions) then aged 20 months in 28% new and 72% older French oak.
Roasted cherries and molasses dominate the nose along with coconut husk, melted dark chocolate, prunes and grilled fennel bulb, vanilla, cinnamon and coriander. Weighty and plush, the palate shows super ripe berries, pepper and Mexican spiced chocolate. There is some chew to the tannins and heat on the finish thanks to 14.9% alcohol.

Laughing Stock Vineyards Viognier, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Potent, powerful, supple.
If you love potent Viogniers, then step right up!
The 2019 comes from the Perfect Hedge Vineyard in Osoyoos and BullPine vineyard an hour south of the Naramata Bench winery. The Bullpine is hotter and provides the extra heat units that Viognier requires to ripen fully. The sites are harvested separately to maintain the perfect balance between rupees and acidity.
Peach compote and mango, ginger and brown spice aromas commingle with teething biscuits, honey and vanilla. The palate is powerful and exotic - spice, citrus and stone fruit flavours dominate. Supple, balanced and lengthy, this is an outstanding representation of the variety.
Keep in mind, it’s a doozy at 14.9% alcohol.
