Nk'Mip Cellars Qwam Qwmt Cabernet Sauvignon, Okanagan BC
Readers rated this wine:
Complete, lifted, velvety.
It's been many years (nine, actually) since I have reviewed this wine and wow, can I say impressive.
Sweet and velvety aromas of cassis, plumcake, vanilla, mocha, pencil shavings and pipe tobacco, bruised roses and baking spice. The palate is lifted and expressive, finely textured and animated. Very correct, complete and satisfying.

Nk'Mip Cellars Qwam Qwmt Syrah, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Succulent, spicy, superb.
Expect typical savoury Okanagan character in this excellent Syrah.
Peppery spices, licorice, wild blackberry jam, bittersweet cocoa, wood smoke, bacon fat and grilling meat aromas lead to an archetype palate. Succulent, meaty, garrigue, mocha and toasted spice flavours are elevated from brooding to superb with a bold shot of acidity.

Expect typical savoury Okanagan character in this excellent Syrah.
Aromas of smoked plums, blackberry, dark cocoa, white pepper, toasted brown spices, tealeaf and leather. Expressive with a supple weight, generous fruit and savoury undertones. Overall good posture and balance here.

Nk'Mip Cellars Riesling, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:

Precise, racy, floral.
Nk'Mip (pronounced Inkameep) is a winery located in the very south of the Okanagan Valley where the dessert crashes into the US border, in Osoyoos.
This lovely dry Riesling is reminiscent of marmalade, Gala apples, stone fruits, Meyer lemons and fragrant white blossoms. It is equally mouth-pleasing; tangy and concentrated potent and racy.
A precise and pure expression of Riesling.
Pair: Sushi, white meats and turkey with the fixins or seafood curry.

Osoyoos Larose 'Le Grand Vin', Okanagan Valley
Readers rated this wine:
It's hard to believe that it’s been over 20 years since the first vintage of Osoyoos Larose. A project like it had never been seen in BC before. It was a joint venture between Canada's Vincor International and Group Taillan of Bordeaux, co-owner of Chateau Gruaud Larose in Saint-Julien, which was classified as a Deuxieme Cru Classe in 1855.
Together they created the Osoyoos Larose estate on an 80-acre semi-arid bench overlooking Lake Osoyoos in the south Okanagan Valley.
To make their iconic Bordeaux-inspired red they hired French winemaker Pascal Madevon.
Several years back Madevon moved on, and the wines are now under guidance of Caroline Schaller.
Le Grand Vin has been a ponderous style from the onset--but you have to respect that these are wines meant to be aged; I've had a few opportunities to taste some back vintages and time is a friend.
Notes of red currents and white pepper, dried rosemary and sage, leather, plum, brown spice, tobacco and cocoa lead to a youthful and brooding palate. It has a sooty character ans notable texture. The finish is firm and trails tobacco and leather flavours.
Merlot 58%, Cab Sauv 26%, Cab Franc 7% and Petit Verdot 7%.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Canadian Chedder & Chive
