Weight, power, persistence.
Formed in 1985 by 80 grapegrowers, Barossa Valley Estate (BVE) continues to produce outstanding Barossa Valley wines. This iconic red is made from carefully selected parcels in the region and already has significant age on it.
Redolent in blackberry jam, mint, a potpourri of cedar chips and dried violets, licorice, pepper, cocoa and brown spice aromas. The palate offers similar black raspberry, dark mocha and mixed spices. It has a significant glycerol weight and power with integrated tannins and expected persistence.
Drinking well now.
