Zesty, creamy, crunchy.
A classic Mosel Riesling, the Fish label is a consistently friendly white named for the fish that adorns the label. It was created by Vacouverite, Johanna Waldof, a friend of owner/winemaker Johannes Selbach's.
Notes of honey and green apples, peach, snappy lime and white blossoms lead to a zesty palate. It's off-dry as expected and riper than the 2020. It has more of a creaminess and on first taste the sweetness seems more pronounced this vintage. However, the next day I tasted it again and it seemed far more crunchy. Flavours of smoked stonefruit and stone lashed with lemon peel linger on the palate. The finish is lip=smacking
Pair: white meats, fresh veggie curries, Asian noodle dishes, hand-chipped fries dipped in chili aioli.
Pairs Great with Gone Crackers Roasted Shallot & Herb
