Fresh, lofty, juicy.
The family owned De Bortoli was established in 1928 by Vittorio De Bortoli, four years after he left Treviso, Italy and settled in Griffith, in the center of New South Wales.
This Shiraz comes from Heathcote, and for every 6 bottles sold, De Bortoli plants a tree.
Mulberry, cocoa, bruised cherry, brown spices and leather, coffee, boxwood and cedar aromas lead to a fresh, medium-bodied wine. Lofty red berries, baking spices, vanilla, mocha and finely ground pepper flavours roll across the tongue. Very approachable and quaffable.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Blue Cheese & Cracked Pepper
