Singular, slick, racy.
Made from Furmint (known primarily for producing the historical sweet Tokaji dessert wines from northeast Hungary), blended with a splash of 13% Muskotaly grapes, this dry (szaraz) table wine comes from the Dereszla Winery, home to one of the oldest cellars in the Tokaj region.
Kaffir lime and straw flower aromas are layered with wet stone cape gooseberry, crunchy nectarine, star fruit and wet stone. It has a juicy palate with racy acidity and distinct mineral and citrus flavours. Taut and ever so slightly smoky it has a slick texture and savoury undertones.
It has a strong Albarino character.
