Gulpable, pristine, juicy.
A classic Mosel Riesling, the Fish label is a consistent white, which over-delivers. The wine is named for the fish that adorns the label. It was created by Vacouverite, Johanna Waldof, a friend of owner/winemaker Johannes Selbach's.
Just as pristine and gulpable as previous vintages, the 2020 leads with notes of mountain stream and green apples, chamomile, lemon drops, peach stone and lime. It's off-dry but cleans up brilliantly with snappy acidity. Zesty and crunchy on the palate, and laden with juicy citrus and tree fruits, it's as always, a delightful wine.
Pair: white meats, fresh veggie curries, Asian noodle dishes, hand-chipped fries dipped in chili aioli.
