Earthy, spiced, classic.
After malolactic fermentation, this estate grown Tempranillo was aged for an additional 20 months on fine lees before being racked, blended with a splash of Syrah (5%) and then bottled unfined and uniltered.
Wild cherries, mashed strawberry, sweet licorice, purple flowers, faint brown spice and finely ground pepper aromas lead to a juicy and dry palate with classic Tempranillo character and flavours of dark red fruit, spice and earth. It is medium-bodied with textural tannins.
A wine for tapas, Spanish cheeses, roasted tomato sauces, fatty meats and cured sausage.
