Classic, fragrant, balanced.
A cohesive classic Mosel Riesling, the Fish label (named from the fish that adorns the label, created by local Johanna Waldof, a friend of owner/winemaker Johannes Selbach's, whom he visits when coming to Vancouver) doles out honey and lime, chamomile, lemon drops and peach stone aromas. The palate is as racy as the nose, this vintage has a richness and additional concentration over the previous, and delivers orchard fruits and lemon tea sweetened with honey. It's off-dry and balanced and has a lengthy finish.
Pair: white meats, fresh veggie curries, Asian noodle dishes, hand-chipped fries dipped in chili aioli.
