Snappy, racy, bouncy.
Lakeside Cellars is a newish 14-acre estate on the eastern shore of Lake Osoyoos. It rests on what used to be the Haynes Homestead. Unable to save the existing structure, new owners Harbans and Harkesh Dhaliwal used parts of the historic estate when building their new tasting room in 2016.
From the oldest vines estate vines (22+ years old) this Sauvignon Blanc is grown on clay-rich alluvial plain soils rich in mineral content.
Expect a sweet peachy nose along with candied citrus peel, gooseberry, lime and honey notes. It's snappy with generous peachy flavours lashed with citrus blossoms and pink grapefruity flavours. It's a joyful wine, bouncy and with good persistence.
