Mature, supple, fresh.
Gold Hill proprietors, the Gill family, have been growing grapes on the slopes of the Golden Mile Bench for 30 years, they made their won wine first in 2009. Today they farm more than 26 hectares around the Okanagan Valley and the wines are made by Val Tait.
This single vineyard estate Cabernet Franc was aged 18-months in French oak and an additional year in bottle before release.
Showing its maturity on the nose you can expect grilled red bell peppers, wild black berries, toasted spice and ash, tobacco, and leather with hints of marmite and molasses. It has a woven palate with supple entry and slightly brooding demeanor; fresh and youthful in the mouth it culminates in toasted finish.

Cherry and red currents, white pepper, wet cedar and vanilla aromas are layered with fresh black soil and dried violets. It has a supple entry and attractive freshness. Classic Cab Franc character but with more muscle and weight. The powerful finish trails red and black fruit dusted with savoury spices.
