Verdant, racy, concentrated.
Lakeside Cellars is a newish 14-acre estate on the eastern shore of Lake Osoyoos. It rests on what used to be the Haynes Homestead. Unable to save the existing structure, new owners Harbans and Harkesh Dhaliwal used parts of the historic estate when building their new tasting room in 2016.
From the oldest vines estate vines (22 years old) this Sauvignon Blanc is grown on clay-rich alluvial plain soils rich in mineral content.br>It has a golden-yellow hue and verdant aromas of grass clippings, gooseberries, lime, green apple, fuzzy peach and elderflower. It has a lush honeyed palate with preserved lemon and wild greens. Great concentration and a racy character. A BC standout in Sauvignon Blanc.
