NEW, complex, lively.
From the historic Greata Ranch vineyard in the north Okanagan, owned by the Fitzpatrick family (former owner/established CedarCreek), this traditional method fizz is made with the same philosophy as smaller batch Grower Champagnes are - entirely estate fruit.
Made from 53% Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, it is aged 24 months on lees. It offers classic yeasty/autolytic notes; think buttery patisserie aromas, lemon meringue, summer berries, peach stone and toast. It boasts a lively bead an good overall complexity and intensity. It is juicy and citrusy, the acidity is a line-drive down the middle of the palate. It culminates in a creamy finish.
Second Review: Oct 2017
Creamy and leesy overall, with lemons, thyme and starfruit aromas, which are layered with marmalade, peach jelly, honey and jasmine blossoms. It is bone-dry and tangy; lemon and mineral/wet stone notes lead to a racy, mouthwatering finish.
