Elegant, creamy, dry.
Specializing in small lot (primarily white) wines, Terravista Vineyards is a gem on the vibrant winemaking region anchored to Penticton called the Naramata Bench.
Their second label En Terre is a new project, seven years in the making. En Terre meaning earthen or of the earth is the embodiment of this special wine series and also the name of Terravista's home vineyard. En Terre reflects their commitment to sustainability and mindful winemaking practices. It is about striking the balance between nature, land and innovative techniques.
The label's distinctive logo, a symbol of the brand's ethos of perpetual motion, draws inspiration from Davinci's golden ratio; a timeless representation of nature's balance and beauty.
There will be five wines in total, but for now, three have been released including this serious traditional method sparkling brut made from 69% Pinot Noir and 31% Chardonnay. It was aged 16 months on lees and no dosage was added after being disgorged.
Toasted apple brioche and grilled lemon, yellow apple, hazelnut and wildflower aromas lead to a dry palate with a creamy texture and fine bead. It has a savoury complexity and notes of dried pineapple, hazelnut and racy citrus flavours. Long and elegant.
