Terra Ventoux wines are produced from soils within vineyards located on 5 different Geological terroirs, these terroirs receive more than 2700 hours of sunlight per year. The richness of the soils, within the 600-hectare vineyard creates exceptional flavour profiles within the Terra Ventoux wines. Their grapes grown on all 5 of these terroirs (included in this wine) are: limestone plateau, white clay with limestone pebbles, sandy hills with red clay, iron rich red soils and pebbly alluvium silt deposits.
It is made from Grenache and Syrah vines more than 30 years old.
Expect woven aromas of plums and red cherries, ssweet spice and cocoa, dried violets, anise and garrigue. It has a rustic lilt with bittersweet chocolate and espresso flavours. A definitive food wine, pair with grilled eggplant, aged goat cheese, roasted meats and hearty soups.
