The Malbec comes from the Similkameen Valley and the Golden Mile Bench. Expect strawberry compote and vanilla, bacon fat and chocolate, vanilla and salted black licorice and saddle leather. It's medium-bodied and quite astringent; flavours are primarily coffee grounds and black chocolate. The mid-palate drops off.
