Pretty, delicious, juicy.
A classic Mosel Riesling, the Fish label (named from the fish that adorns the label, created by local Johanna Waldof, a friend of owner/winemaker Johannes Selbach's, whom he visits when coming to Vancouver) is a consistent white, which over-delivers. The 2019 is described by snappy green apples and lime, peach pit and wet stone with delicate floral undertones. Like the nose, the palate is bright and pretty; expect a slick texture and focus and precision with a racy lemon-lime finish.
Pair: white meats, fresh veggie curries, Asian noodle dishes, hand-chipped fries dipped in chili aioli.
