Generous, classic, mouthwatering.
Bartier Bros. first sparkling wine release, this traditionally made brut, a blanc de blanc, is made entirely from Chardonnay. The initial vintage was 2019 and portions of each vintage are held back to create future releases. It was aged in stainless steel for 4 months then in barrel for 12 months. It was disgorged in late 2022 and features classic brut characteristics of warm yellow apples and wild honey, lemon brioche, dried quince and churned butter. It has a mouthfilling and generous palate with yellow fruits, toast and dried pear and pineapple flavours. It's creamy but has notable tension.
Bravo.
