Amalaya Torrontes, Calchaqui, Salta, Argentina
Readers rated this wine:
Tangy, racy, fragrant.
Made from grapes plated in soaring in vineyards at 1800 MASL, this 85% Torrontes and 15% Riesling is a juicy and fragrant white. Notes of crunchy peaches and lime, bold grapefruit, star fruits and spring flowers lead to a racy palate. Snappy green apples, grapefruit peel and lime flavours dominate; the finish is long and mouthwatering.
Pair with seafood or salads, cold spicy noodle dishes and soft cheeses. ©copyright 2023 Daenna Van Mulligen
