Classic black currents, blueberry and licorice, vanilla, smoked baking spices and wild strawberries with chocolate. Fleshy with a supple entry, this is a savoury red with cocoa, teleaf and spice trailing on the finish. A good value everyday dinner red.

Value, fresh, succulent.
A value everyday red, the Nederburg Cabernet suggests inky aromas of currents and iodine, espresso, cocoa, leather and graphite. The palate is similarly succulent; cassis and chocolate cherries, toasted oak and spice flavours mimic the nose. Good weight, balanced and richness.
Pair: grilled meats, game, hard cheeses, pasta in meat sauces, grilled mushrooms and eggplants
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Parmesan & Rosemary

Value, fresh, succulent.
A well-quaffed red here offering good value, the Nederburg Cabernet offers aromas of black currents, smoked black plums, graphite, leather, licorice root and chocolate alongside savoury spices and tar. It has ripe fruits and spice on the palate, alongside toffee and molasses. Overall, good freshness, a straightforward everyday red.
Pair: grilled meats, game, hard cheeses, pasta in meat sauces.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Parmesan & Rosemary

Slick, potent, woven
The Heritage Heroes are a series of hand-made gourmet wines named for some of the folks who have shaped Nederburg and its history as one of South Africa's oldest and most awarded wineries. This one is named for founder Philippus Wolvaart who bought the farm in 1791.
The grapes come from Swartland and Paarl planted 37 & 38 years ago, which means the fall under South Africa's OVP (old vine project) vines; portions were fermented in older oak, clay amphora and in stainless steel.
Notes of honey and grilled lemon, pine wax and straw, fennel, yellow apples, peach stone and flint lead to a lively palate. It's wonderfully woven and the flavours echo its aromas. Notable depth and potency it has a slick texture and trails citrus and dried pineapple flavours across the finish.

Consistent, value, piquant.
A consistent wine in our market, one offering good value.
Green apples and jalapeno, star fruit and gooseberry, nettle, grass clippings and lime aromas lead to a juicy and piquant palate. It has good palate weight and flavours of crunchy tree fruits.
A solid pairing with smoked fish, herb and chevre quiche or seafood salads.

Great value! A refreshing Savvy with toned down intrinsic green notes from the 2011 vintage.
This year you can expect passion fruits, guava and gooseberry layered with elderflower blossoms, nettle and lime. The palate is fresh and lively with appealing weight and a mouthwatering finish. A wine to pair with smoked fish, herb chevre quiche or seafood salads.
