Tantalus Vineyards 'Maija' Pinot Noir, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Buoyant, charming, harmonious
Handpicked from Tantalus' youngest estate blocks of Dijon clone Pinot, this juicy and harmonious version shows classic pinosity and notes of red berry and cherry, forest floor, faint spice and a potpourri of cedar chips and violets. Sweet lifted red fruit, baking spice, earth and leather flavours slide across a silky palate. Woven, charming and buoyant.

Tantalus Vineyards Blanc de Blancs, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Juicy, complex, lengthy.
This traditional method sparkling is made entirely from Chardonnay that was harvested in early September 2017. The base wine was fermented in seasoned Chardonnay barrels and puncheons and aged for 6 months in the oak. It was racked from fermentation lees and secondary fermentation took place the following May. The wine spent 22 months on secondary fermentation lees before disgorgement in late winter 2020, where it received a small 8 g/L residual sugar dosage of 2017 Chardonnay.
Glinting golden it has aromas of buttery brioche, tangerine, vanilla scented cream, yellow apples and peaches with notes of honeysuckle. The attack is juicy, mid-palate flavours of yellow apples, lemon curd and nutty pastries mimic the nose. Lengthy and complex with a fine bead make for a fantastic fizz.

Tantalus Vineyards Blanc de Noir, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Fragrant, pristine, charming.
A sparkling that is the palest pink shade with apricot glints, this single vineyard Pinot Noir is a charming traditional method fizz.
The base wine was fermented and aged for 6 months in neutral oak barriques and puncheons and then racked from fermentation lees and put to secondary fermentation in May 2018. It spent 22 months on secondary fermentation lees before disgorgement in late winter 2020 where it received a small dosage of 6 g/L of 2017 Pinot Noir still wine.
Expect applesauce and honey, summer berries drizzled in cream, vanilla, and vague nutty aromas. It is juicy and laden with apples and red berries with a suggestion of orange segments. Pretty, with a kiss of sweetness it is lifted, elegant and extremely refreshing bubbly.

Superlative, pristine, fearless.
A light pink fizz made from estate grown Pinot Noir, which expresses a whisper of peach atop red apple peel, pristine red berries, golden citrus and steely minerality. The palate is as pristine as the nose; expect superlative acidity that will curl your tongue, and your eyelashes. Wonderful complexity and focus -- a fearless wine.
