Named in honor of original owner Rodney Strong's wife Charlotte, the heritage Sauvignon Blanc vineyard was planted in 1971 this Sauvignon Blanc is mostly fermented in stainless steel tanks with partial French barrel ferment.
Browned butter and toasted spices, grilled lemons and savoury herbs mingle with lime and gooseberry aromas. Liberal sweet tropical fruit is layered with honey. There is a slight prickle on the tongue and it boasts notable weight and freshness.

Fresh, toasted, buttery.
I's been five years since I've tasted the Chalk Hill from Sonoma and it was a lovely revisit.
Aromas of coriander and toasted buts, grilled yellow apples and lemon are underscored by buttery notes. Similar notes of spice and buttered nuts appear on the palate with toast and creamy yellow fruit flavours. It's fresh and beautifully balanced.

Impressive, complete, precision.
That impressive step-up from the Sonoma Chardonnay shows more precision. Expect aromas of browned butter and golden fruits, warm croissants and nutty pralines with a core of fresh mountain stream minerality and fine toast. It has a buttery tangerine palate with sweet apple turnovers, juicy lemon curd and warm spice flavours. Excellent balance and mouthwatering acidity. Very complete.

Buttery, plush, fresh.

A reflection of Sonoma with a good dose of Russian River opulence, the Rodney Strong doles out buttery caramels, honey and hazelnut praline, vanilla, yellow apples and orange panacotta. It is sweet, plush and nutty with vanilla cream, spice and golden fruit flavours lingering across a fresh and lengthy finish. Partial barrel ferment and partial malolactic fermentation, followed by a short barrel maturation.
Pair with roast chicken or creamy corn chowder.

Fresh, classic, balanced.
Fresh aromas of cassis and bell peppers, roasted meat and vanilla, grilled jalapeno and dark cocoa lead to an equally fresh palate that is spicy ad savoury, balanced and supple. Classic Cabernet character with a long finish trailing spice and tobacco flavours.
