Tantalus Vineyards Pinot Noir, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Stylish, ethereal, energetic.
Impressively elegant, as expected, from winemaker and GM David Paterson, who prefers to let his site and sustainable vineyard speak through the wine.
I reviewed this for TASTE Magazine's fall 2019 issue. Sweet and savoury with botanical, cherries, red berry and forest floor aromas layered with fine spice and woodsy aromas. It is fresh and succulent with juicy fruit, fine cocoa, spice and leather. A stylish wine with good complexity and length.
Overall, great Pinosity with an overarching ethereal quality. ©copyright 2019 Daenna Van Mulligen

Tantalus Vineyards Pinot Noir, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Elegant, ethereal, energetic.
Impressively elegant, as expected, from winemaker and GM David Paterson, who prefers to let his site and sustainable vineyard speak through the wine. Wonderfully expressive raspberry jam, star anise, peppery spices, red cherries, clove, vanilla, and a fragrant bouquet of lilacs. Silky in the mouth; generous amounts of sweet and plump summer berries, leather, spice, cocoa and tealeaf. It has a youthful and energetic character but also an overarching ethereal quality.

Tantalus Vineyards Riesling, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Taut, nervy, precise.
There's little wonder why Tantalus has so many devoted fans, their Rieslings along with Pinot Noirs, Chardonnays and sparkling wines continue to impress us. Established in 2004, Tantalus is a 75-acre vineyard located in South East Kelowna. Outstanding clarity it dives in with lime and lemon peel, peach stone, snappy green apples and wildflower talc notes then slices across the palate with pristine tree fruits and citrus. Taut and nervy, it finishes with mouthwatering precision. ©copyright 2020 Daenna Van Mulligen

Tantalus Vineyards Rose, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Pretty, expressive, pristine.
A cherry blossom pink made from Pinot Noir (60%) and Pinot Meunier (40%), Tantalus' version rolls out pretty aromas of red apples and raspberries, spring flowers, honey, cedar and wild herbs. Dry and zesty with juicy cranberry and rhubarb, fine spice and grapefruity flavours. Bracing and pristine it's a rose for salmon, soft cheese, and pastas, pizzas, risottos, or burgers featuring mushrooms. ©copyright 2020 Daenna Van Mulligen
