Currants, sweet earthy aromas, savoury smoked meat, green bell pepper and a hint of rubber on the nose. Medium-full bodied on the palate - the flavours echo the aromas with currants, smoked and savoury hints, tobacco and spice with a dose of jalapeno on the finish. The tannins are quite integrated the flavours linger - making this a wine well suited to barbecuing.
