Mission Hill Reserve Riesling, Okanagan Valley BC, 2007
Readers rated this wine:
Stunning!
This is what consumers need to taste when they think nasty thoughts about Riesling.
Balance.
Lush aromas of honey, peaches, crisp Okanagan apples, orchard blossoms and minerals. A kiss of honeyed sweetness on the palate (offset by the lovely acidity) with ripe peach/apricot, zingy grapefruit and lime zest and a hint of apple peel in the mix. Balanced, crisp but softly rounded acidity - there is no arguing - this wine is not to be missed.
