This is a powerful, extracted Malbec that is dense in colour with aromas of black berries and bittersweet chocolate, prunes and vanilla, sweet spice and plenty of pepper, crushed dried flowers and just a hint of sausage. The palate is potent, rich with chocolate and dark fruit, vanilla and clove flavours. It finishes powerfully, the tannins are supple, espresso and pepper linger on the finish.
I would love a pinch more acidity but all-in-all, very impressive!
