I am a huge fan of Rodney Strong and master winemaker Rick Sayre's wonderful Pinot Noir's from Russian River and Jane's Vineyard. But I recently had the opportunity to try several other RS wines like this Sauvignon Blanc which is bright and crisp with tropical notes of pineapple, juicy citrus and white floral aromas. On the palate it is gently rounded, vibrant and lively with grass and vanilla flavours lifted with lemon zest on the finish.
