This is a brooding blend of Sangiovese with 15% Cabernet that smells of hot days and sunbaked earth. Smoky black cherry, plums and loads of savoury aromas - meaty, grilled green peppers and cracked peppercorns. That savoury character follows through on the palate wrapped in a smooth texture. Medium-full bodied with chewy tannins and a spiced, earthy finish.
