I am all over Cabernet again - the reason? I am making it my goal to tell people there is nothing wrong with "green" hints in wine - it's a typical characteristic folks.
"Green" can come in the form of eucalyptus, green olive, mint, jalapeno...and it does not have to be a bad thing - it lifts and brightens, makes a wine savoury too (good with food).
This one has sweet red cherry and currents, eucalyptus and cedar with hints of crushed flowers and chocolate.... Juicy in the mouth, smooth and spiced with red fruit and some tobacco flavours with ripe, firm tannins on the finish.
