Ruby, restrained, umami.
Chic Fille is JoieFarm's proprietor and winemaker Heidi Noble's second label; the term translates to pretty girl or cool girl.
Made entirely of Pinot Noir and in a natural method, Chic Fille is the result of practices she's been playing with over fifteen vintages: native fermentation, lees contact and semi-carbonic fermentation, for example.
Because of the ongoing success of Noble's JoieFarm rose, it stands to reason she would do so for this new label also.
Brilliant ruby with watermelon glints and aromas of tangy cherries, red currents, dried orange peel, tealeaf and cedar forest, It is dry and textural; pristine with restrained fruit and herbal tones it has a distinct savoury/umami character.
