Cuma Organic Malbec, Cafayate Valley Argentina

Second Review: April 2017 I received a second bottle of this wine and my review was substantially different, which makes me wonder abut bottle variation. In the second bottle: Purple fruit, raspberry, rich mocha, toasted sweet spices, licorice and violets. The palate was fresh with vanilla, mocha and ripe berries in chocolate. Juicy and quite complete - approachable. ©copyright 2017 Daenna Van Mulligen Wine Scores Reviewed - April 12th, 2017
Succulent, youthful, leather.
Formerly known as Michel Torino 'Cuma', this newly labeled Malbec still offers great value, but no longer offers a specific region, from where it is grown.
An interesting assemblage of aromas; hops, moist earth, leather and dark roast espresso, smoked paprika and cola spices lead to a watery palate with fine cocoa and spices. Very youthful, but good acidity, and a bitter finish.
