Quails' Gate Estate Winery 'Rosemary's Block' Chardonnay, Okanagan Valley, BC
Readers rated this wine:
Fresh, generous, lively.
Named for the Stewart family matriarch, the Rosemary’s Block wine was harvested from the Upper Boucherie Bench in West Kelowna. After being fermented in oak and going through a full malolactic secondary fermentation, it was aged on its lees in new and old French barrels and stirred every three weeks to add richness and complexity.
The wine is golden in colour and has a lively lemony nose layered with yellow apples, brown spice and nuts. Generous yet fresh boasting toast and citrus, and yellow and white tree fruit flavours.
