A seductively scented Sangiovese with sweet cherries, vanilla and brown spices, worn leather, tobacco, bacon fat and smoked herbal notes. Wonderfully fresh, even with some age, it has juicy red fruit, savoury spices and a long silky finish.
Supple and delicious.
Pair :roasted mushrooms, wild game, rich pasta sauces and aged pecorino or silky taleggio.
