This widely recognized ochre labeled Chianti Classico offers evolving and engaging aromatics of dried rose petals, star anise, strawberries and chocolate, sweet spices, vanilla, licorice and espresso. The palate mimics the nose with warm chocolaty flavours layered with tobacco, leather and red fruits. It has dry, powdery tannins and a long fresh finish. Pair: slow roasted meats, tomato based pastas, Italian cheese and salami platters.
