Gerard Bertrand 'Cote des Roses' Pinot Noir, Southern France
Readers rated this wine:
Pretty, freshness, juicy.
Here is a stunning bottle from Gerard Betrand, with a pretty glass stopper filled with Pinot Noir from the Sud de France.
Sweet red cherry and pipe tobacco aromas mingle with fresh dark earth, cedar dust, purple flowers and baking spices. It has a lovely suppleness and approachable demeanor with juicy red fruit underscored by forest floor, tealeaf and spice.
A wine for beet salads, smoked salmon, mushrooms in sherry or a nice cheese plate.
