Craggy Range 'Te Muna' Sauvignon Blanc, Martinborough, New Zealand
Readers rated this wine:
Complex, textural, mineral.
If you're a fan of Kiwi savvy, this is a nice addition to your regular repertoire. Grown on the southern portion of the North Island, it has a bit more oomph and texture than a lot of the South Island's Marlborough versions. Nettle and elderflower leaf aromas are woven with jalapeno, gooseberry, passionfruit and jasmine, atop notable mineral tones. It is precise, dry and textural with a mineral core; nice creaminess and richness adds complexity and the finish is persistent. ©copyright 2020 Daenna Van Mulligen
