Fresh, peppery, persistent.
The Syrah grapes were harvested from estate Burrowing Owl and Eva's vineyards in Oliver and Osoyoos. a portion was co-fermented with Viognier grapes. The wine was then transferred into barrels to allow for malolactic fermentation followed by ageing 16 months. Expect black plums and blackberries, sage and leather, spice rub, white pepper and tobacco aromas. A fresh entry delivers purple fruits woven with toasted spice, coffee. oak and it has a peppery finish. Good length and bones.
