Value, mature, classic.
Made from Monastrell, Tempranillo and Garnacha, which was aged 12 months in barrel before bottle aging this well matured bottle offers exceptional value. Notes of bruised strawberries and red cherry are layered with licorice, vanilla, cedar, iodine and a sprinkle of white pepper. Tart red fruit, spicebox and cigar flavours grip the palate, and tobacco lingers on the finish. A classic, nicely balanced and made for food: roasted meats, hearty pastas, potato tortilla or stews and hard cheeses.
