Boschendal Chardonnay, South Africa
Readers rated this wine:
Toasted, approachable, buttery.
Founded in 1685, Boschendal stands as one of the oldest wine companies in South Africa. This Chardy is delicious, a solid version that smells of golden pineapples, vanilla, smoked sweet spices, melon and roasted hazelnuts. It's got wonderful lift and freshness; the finish is long and trails vanilla, spice and pineapple flavours. Pair: corn on the cob, grilled chicken, smoked cheeses, shellfish dipped in butter and creamy white sauces. ©copyright 2019 Daenna Van Mulligen
