An equal blend of Merlot and Sangiovese this IGT offers strawberries and red cherries, leather, dried rose petals, tealeaf and savoury spices, on the nose. It is fresh and silky in the mouth with an umami character; flavours of juicy red fruits are layered with leather, tomato leaf, tobacco and fine spice. Nicely woven, stylish and fresh for its maturity.
