Honey, floral, juicy.
The Kruger family established Wile Goose Vineyards in Okanagan Falls in 1984, and since 2021 has been owned by Burrowing Owl Vineyards in Oliver. It's been a decade since I've sampled this Pinot Gris.
The 2022 suggests notes of honey and peach pear, quince and orange blossoms. It has a good weight and concentration and flavours of citrus and hops linger on a medium finish. I'd like to see a little more acidity and freshness here.
