Singular, fleshy, attractive.

Here is another lovely vintage of the Monte del Fra, which hails from Custoza, only 15km from Lake Garda near Verona. It is a very unique blend of Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano, Tocai Friulano, Cortese, Chardonnay-Riesling Italico-Malvasia and Incrocio Manzoni from a vineyard more than 40 years old.
This is a definitive food wine that has a golden hue and attractive notes of yellow apples and starfruit woven with pineapple, green almond, wet stone, lemon wax and honey. It's a fleshy wine with lively acidity and a great mouthfeel; notable concentration overall and a zesty lemon peel finish.
Pair: Oysters, sushi, sashimi, white meats and glazed duck.
