Fleshy, supple, polished.
An inky ruby red with notes of chocolate cherries, vanilla, violets, star anise, pipe tobacco, leather and a whiff of bacon. Delightfully sweet wild berry and plum flavours are underscored by spice, dark chocolate, espresso and black licorice. Supple with balanced freshness and a long finish of polished tannins.
Pair: grilled or roasted meats, mushroom and thyme stuffed ravioli.
