Aromatic, charming, fresh.
Calliope makes a white and a red version of the Figure 8 and this aromatic white is a blend of Pinot Gris, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc with a splash each of Semillon, Gewurztraminer and Riesling.
It's a fruit-cup of aromas, topped with honey, lively citrus and spring blossoms. Laden with fruit, this off-dry charmer has loads of spice. Good concentration here and a significant finish that trails star anise flavours.
